Lord, dear Father, You are our Creator and Redeemer. Glory to Your name. We adore You, praise to You, Lord for You are the king of Heaven and Earth.
How kind You are, Lord. You are generous and forgiving to sinners. You are so understanding and considerate to young people like us. You know our weaknesses and You understand our failures. Your name is comforting and inspiring. You gave us a wonderful world to live in and beautiful people to live with.
Thank You Lord, for the gift of Love. Thank You for the blessings and guidance you have showered on us throughout our high school years.
We are grateful, Lord for giving us Jose Abad Santos High School (JASHS) as our secondary home. We are grateful to You for providing us with competent teachers who moulded us into good Christians and law abiding citizens of the country.
Thank You Lord for our friends, classmates and schoolmates who shared with us the joys and sorrows of learning. Above all, thank You for the wonderful parents and elders who sacrificed their time, money, and health in helping us finish our high school. May they always be healthy, strong, and lucky in all their endeavors that they may always be supportive in our studies.
Lord, bless us graduates of JASHS Batch 1989. Bless all the people around us-our parents and family members, our mentors and school administrators, our friends, classmates and schoolmates.
Have mercy on us, Lord. Listen to our prayers. Watch over us always. Protect us from harm and evil.
Give us the courage to face challenges. Help us to bear all life's tribulations of everyday living. Grant us the optimism to pursue our college education.
Come Holy Spirit and enlighten our minds. Grant us the Seven Gifts and the virtues that we may be able to attain all our goals in this life. And in fulfilling our goals we shall continue to praise the name of the Father through Jesus Christ, our saviour.....
Amen.
JASHS Batch 1989 says, "A MILLION THANKS..."
We have to go, but before we leave we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all the people behind our failures and successes in the past four years of studying in JASHS.
- To the City of Manila...................for giving us free high school education and competent administrators and mentors.
- To our Alma Mater: JASHS..................for giving us the chance to use her facilities. You have assisted us Batch 1989 to study and work more comfortably. There were unforgettable experiences which happened within your four walls.
- To our beloved parents................for giving us inspiration in our studies. We know that you labored earnestly for this because you want to provide us with a bright future. In return, we will strive harder to be worthy of your love and care.
- To our school administrators.................for molding us to become model young citizens of the country. You have inculcated values and virtues which we mostly need during challenging times of an ever changing society. What you have shared with us will serve as a tool in developing our behavior.
- To our dear mentors...............for unselfishly imparting to us knowledge. You have tapped and developed our skills and talents which shall serve as the foundation in building our future. You have guided us in our search for truth.
- To our classmates.................for sharing our joys and sadness, our victories and frustrations. It hurts to say goodbye but we have to leave with the thought of meeting each other someday somehow.
And to all the people who in one way or another have helped us attain our cherished goal to finish high school.
